Day 27 - Sunday, July 1, 2007, Today I was able to go to the international church. The service was spoken in Romanian and translated in English-- which was awesome! The message was on the principles of love: 1) God is the source of all love 2) Real love is to be given and 3) How do you spend your time. It was a great messege. After that, Alina, Heidi, and I went to a park to relax and talk. Heidi was able to take out her violin and play some songs. It was great.
Day 28-32 - Monday - Friday, July 2-6, 2007, This was a week that was spent on preparing for a week long camp. We had 15 Romanian staff, 7 interns, and 14 US team members to prepare workshops, activities, games, chapels, and quiet times. We spend all week with Heidi Olson training us on how to work with kids and she taught us some really cool games she's used in many other camps. There was 65 kids from orphanages and social apartments scheduled to come to camp up in the mountains. It was a long and busy week of preparations, but it paid off the next week.
